Tracking Metrics

Metrics is tracking numbers (sales, leads, promotions, website traffic) and changes in these numbers in order to see what is truly happening in the business.

  • Tracking key stats on a weekly and monthly basis, analyzing these metrics and how they affect your company's bottom line. These include:
    - customers, prospects
    - sales of products and services
    - promotional stats
    - website traffic
    - revenue

  • Setting up a reporting system that includes what to track.

  • Analyzing metrics and discussing trends/patterns with the business owner. A metrics worksheet can act as an “EKG” for the business.
